Unfortunately you've chosen a solution where your choice of data model
imposes costs on those who have other priorities.  I don't believe data
model extensibility is a usefully solvable problem in a general way, so
my interest in paying those costs is considerably lower than your
interests in imposing them.

ASN.1 folks seem generally more willing to pay a price for convenient
_program_ access to information.

It doesn't make sense, which is one key criteria for choosing XML over
CSV - or RDF.
