Good grief!  Pulling out this old saw?  I have converted a *lot* of people to 
Python, and I have not seen one whose surprise at forced indentation does not 
deliquesce into delight or oblivion within a few hours.

The extraordinary expressiveness Python affords you overall *far* overpowers 
the restrictions it imposes on white space.

DO you *really* disdain the fact that there are no obfuscated Python contests? 
 ;-)
