I meant to add to my last message (to make it less content-free, even if 
that's not cricket to you):

It's telling that you chose to respond to my post, which contained a lot of 
discussion of my lack of disaffection with XML, with this bit of perhaps 
insolent inscrutability.

And will you ever fix your mail reader to kill all that HTML crap when posting 
to mailing lists?
