Dare, One question I'm curious about is whether the forms designed against the schemas work cross-browser with some kind of server-side solution if the browser is not IE6, or whether it relies on IE6 being the client side (or is the XDocs tools its own client-side "form viewer" tool?) The second URL you mention below talks about invoking cross-platform web services, but it wasn't clear from either of the two article what users of others browsers get (if anything). Other readers of your column may have a similar curiosity. Thanks. __________________________________________________________________ Steve Muench - Developer, Product Mgr, Java/XML Evangelist, Author Building Oracle XML Apps, http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/orxmlapp Simplify J2EE Development with the Oracle BC4J Framework http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/htdocs/j2ee_bc4j.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dare Obasanjo" <dareo@m...> To: "Mike Champion" <mc@x...>; <xml-dev@l...> Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 8:19 PM Subject: RE: XDocs and XForms? The best write ups about XDocs I've seen online were at http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,609994,00.asp and http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/features/2002/Oct02/10-09OfficeFamily .asp respectively. If that is not enough information, next month's Extreme XML should be about XDocs et al. You can mail me questions you'd like to see answered and I'll be sure to pass them along to the Office team.
