OK, fair enough, sorry that I'm too old, feeble, and cynical to want
to beat my head against that wall any longer.

Sure, put your love and energy into doing The Right Thing.  Just don't
expect people to bet real money on it, because Worse is Better wins
(in the marketplace) just about every time.  That really does [expletive deleted],
but one has to deal with it.
