[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] Re: xml:base
> [Hmm.. I sent 3 or 4 msgs to xml-dev on Tuesday and they went into the > bit bucket, perhaps because xml-dev was on the Cc: not the To: line?] I can't explain what happened, but I did reply to your message, and that made the archive for the list: http://lists.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/200207/msg00768.html One additional interesting point we haven't really discussed is that xml:base and HTML's BASE element are very different. xml:base is an attribute that can appear anywhere and its scope is limited to the it's host element. BASE is an element that appears in the HEAD element, with an HREF attribute, and its scope is the entire HTML document. Of course, all your base are belong to us. -- Simon St.Laurent Ring around the content, a pocket full of brackets Errors, errors, all fall down! http://simonstl.com
