Yes the number one FAQ and source of incompatibility in XSLT is that
fact that MSXML removes white space before applying the transform.
If you call the parser from script you can change the whitespace
property of the parser so it does the right thing, but if you use the
version embedded in IE for example you have no possibility to chnage
this.
