Sort-of, but they're really the least interesting bit of it. More
interesting are the extensions to the element and attribute items, and
the schema components themselves. In order to get any information
about (say) a type you need to look at its properties, and the schema
spec talks of information items isomorphic to the schema components.

If you added items corresponding to all the schema components - so
that you could examine content models, type inheritance, datatype
facets and so on - you would need at least two dozen.
