On Mac OS 9, with IE 5.0, the form is displayed, but the default values are
not. Next and Previous buttons do nothing.
On Mac OS X, with IE 5.1 (beta), the same.
I'd say it doesn't work on Mac OS machines yet. Note that the browser
version numbers are not as high as available for MSWindows, and that means
you should expect different levels of support for both the script language
and the XML/XSL.

Even if the attachments won't work on Netscape, will they work on operating
systems other than Windows that support Internet Explorer (for example
MacOS)?
(just to remind: I'm using Javascript and client-side xml parsing).

no i guess this thing is just not going to work on anything else than IE,
as <xml tag is the property of IE only(i guess will anyone here clarify)
though i have never tried it, but you can try opening MSDN online
documentation on netscape, if it work you can use the same way as those guys
are using xml files for making tree, etc using html, javascript and some
html component.

yes, for the moment i am using javascript (if you check the source of the
htm file).
1) But how would you explain it not working on Netscape 6?
2) i would like you experts to go through it and let me know if it'll work
on other platforms such as Macintosh with Internet Explorer 5. when i try

Please check the attachments.
The htm file is coming up well on Windows systems with Internet Explorer,
but doesn't work with Netscape 6.
Why is it so? Is it because it's working with the inbuilt MSXML parser of
Internet Explorer or what's the reason?
Will this code work on other platforms (Linux, Mac etc.) with any kind of
modifications?
In short how could I code client side parsing so that it works on Window and
Macintosh systems with atleast MS Internet Explorer browser?
