If you wanted a non-deterministic content model -- I think the chess game
example discussed in this list before is one which cannot be made
deterministic --

<!ELEMENT chessgame ((whitemove, blackmove)*, whitemove?)>

in other words, the content model -- (a, b*), a? -- is non-deterministic.
