Hi Purvesh, your content model is deterministic. The best way to visualize it is by drawing a state diagram (see attachement). There is always only one way to go. Note that there is a fancy way to note your content model in SGML, that reappears in XML Schema definitions as the 'all' tag. In SGML it is: <!ELEMENT a ( x & y )? > Greetings, Patrick > Purvesh Sharma wrote: > > Hi all, > > Can anybody tell me whether the following content model is > deterministic or non-deterministic? and why? > > <!ELEMENT a ((x, y) | (y, x))?> > > Waiting to hear from you people... > > Regards > Purvesh begin:vcard n:Ohl;Patrick tel;cell:+49-1708607430 tel;home:+49-89-38859084 tel;work:+49-89-358680-45 x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:http://www.jNerd.de adr:;;Ainmillerstr. 6;Munich;;80801;Germany version:2.1 email;internet:Patrick.Ohl@o... fn:Patrick Ohl end:vcard
