Use the one that comes with JAXP.

Since it is a java stuff, it should run on any platform

If you are going to have to go to next and previous , you do not have much option. If you are to stick to the standard java api s you have to use DOM.
SAX will only allow you to  parse one way through a file.

We have data in xml files and images in gif format. The user should be able to browse through the records and view images pertaining to each record with Internet Explorer. The user should be able to use 'next' and 'previous' buttons to browse through the records.
At a later stage I would also like to include a search engine.
Important: I should be able to use the cdrom product on both pc and mac.

thanx,
Jyotinarayan.

Hi all,
I'm developing a cdrom based product, using xml data. This is an internet browser based project that should be viewable in any platform (Windows, Mac, etc.). What parser should I use?
Help, it's urgent.
Thanx in advance,
Jyotinarayan.
