Here's another one:

What can you do with <amount currency="UKL">34.00</amount> that you
can't do with <amount>34.00UKL</amount>?

Answer: Sort a bunch of them reliably _as numbers_ with XSLT.  The
significance of this goes quite deep, it seems to me.
