No, you did not post this question to the XSL list as well.  This question 
was posted only to the XML dev list.  Your other questions have been cross 
posted to both lists.

My point in starting off with my information about the other list is to 
emphasize that the question you asked is better asked elsewhere.  Looking 
at the mail headers for your original question, I see that it was only sent 
to XML-DEV.

I answered your question after quoting your original for the context of 
those reading the code that I supplied.  Please read the remainder of the 
message, as I took the time to write and test a working stylesheet giving 
you exactly what you asked for.
