Potential bug in Oracle XML Parser 2.0.7.0.0 (C) xslprocess() xslprocess

I am developing on a Solaris platform using  Oracle XML Parser 2.0.7.0.0 (C)

I have found that xslprocess() and xslprocessex() functions fail (core dump)
when processing an XML document with attribute values defaulted by
xmlparse() according to the DTD.

It works fine when the document supplies values for those same attributes.

<!DOCTYPE Strings [
<!ELEMENT Strings (String*)>
<!ELEMENT String  (#PCDATA)>
<!ATTLIST String  length CDATA '10'
                  filler CDATA #IMPLIED>
]>
<Strings>
	<String>Too short</String>
</Strings>

<?xml version='1.0'?>
<!-- xslprocess() WORKS with this document -->
<!DOCTYPE Strings [
<!ELEMENT Strings (String*)>
<!ELEMENT String  (#PCDATA)>
<!ATTLIST String  length CDATA '10'
                  filler CDATA #IMPLIED>
]>
<Strings>
	<String length='20'>Too short</String>
</Strings>

I have a work around using
xmlparse()->getDocumentElement()->printBuffer()->xmlparsebuf() but it is not
ideal.

Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a fix?
