Private email evidently didn't get through to you, I've been
getting "mail still queued" messages from some mailer ...

Are you sure the problem isn't in how you were invoking the parser?
Last I knew, AElfred2 (unlike the original) took care to close
every file that it opened -- with "finally" blocks to force the
file descriptors to close.

Try sending along a reproducible test case, including the code
you use to invoke the parser.
