xml linux

1. Elements.
2. Attributes ( in syntax, not in the model ).
3. Mixed content - allowed.
4. No namespaces, PIs e t.c. ( they're addressed by 5/6/7 ).
5. Reasonable Schema.
6. Reasonable Xpath.
7. Reasonable XSL.
8. 5/6/7 working together in some unified way.

This is the framework I'm desiging right now and
I'm scheduling maybe one year to get this implemented.
There are some twists with 5/6/7/8, but last 2 weeks
I feel they're solvable.

This is "XML Linux" and any developer who shares exactly
this view on XML is very welcome to join me in this adventure.

SML-dev helps a lot, but SML-dev is *not* 'bugfixing' XML,
but is addressing another problem domain, so SML-dev is
not "XML Linux".

Rgds.Paul.

PS. "XML Linux" has nothing to do with semantics web
or embedded devices, but the purpose of XML Linux is
to produce handy server-side tools that could be used
by ordinary person without spending years on reading
different specs of 300 pages each.
