Every message that goes out on XML-DEV has this information embedded in
the header:

List-Unsubscribe:
<mailto:xml-dev-request@l...?body=unsubscribe>

It used to be carried in the footer of each mail. While I welcome the
reduction in noise in the body of the message, if it's going to provoke
a flood of queries about unsubscribing, then I respectfully ask the
list admins to put it back. It also had a handy link to the archives.

While trying to locate the archives just now, I went to
http://lists.xml.org/ which didn't even have a link to the final
location of the archives, http://lists.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/, and
instead appears to be an advert for eList.

Oh, and any news on a search facility for the archives?

Frustrated,
