Thanks Rick. Then it is a sales job for us who are using MSXML to convince our customers that as we develop XML-DR for them in accordance with their choice of platforms, the vendor will honor their commitments and enable straightforward migration up to the fuller XML-Schemas. (Yes, we can XSLT I guess.) Len Bullard Intergraph Public Safety clbullar@i... http://fly.hiwaay.net/~cbullard/lensongs.ram Ekam sat.h, Vipraah bahudhaa vadanti. Daamyata. Datta. Dayadhvam.h -----Original Message----- From: Rick JELLIFFE [mailto:ricko@g...] I know of no public statements by MS that they will not be supporting XML Schemas. I don't know their timetable, and I don't know whether they will support XML Schemas exclusively, or also maintain XML-DR for some time too (e.g. for BizTalk legacy.) I know of no XML-Schema-lite proposal that is being publically mooted. RELAX core is a near subset, but full RELAX goes in areas that XML Schemas does not. *************************************************************************** This is xml-dev, the mailing list for XML developers.
