Laurent,
	I would suggest sgrep
(http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/jjaakkol/sgrep.html) which is a generic
structured querying tool. It has its own query language and can be used with
XML, SGML and any other structured document. The source is open and fairly
easy to modify.
