List server: how's it been and brief downtime...

Hi folks,

How have things been? Is performance back up to acceptable?

I got one of our sysadmins to look at the machine and he's made
another suggestion for improving performance (move /var off the
crowded and very active root partition). I'm going to do that
later today, so the list will be down for a few minutes. (I
don't think anyone would even notice, but... :-)
