Anyone use Lore XML Database from Stanford ?

Hi all,
       I was wonder if anyone used the Lore XML Database from
Stanford.
http://www-db.stanford.edu/lore/

Any experiences to share with Lore or other XML databases ? I am
investigating the use of Lore for our Open data directory project
(http://i3connect.net) to index XML files.
