Hello people, Since I have been following the discussion about names of human beings I ask myself the following question: Would it be possible to have a list of common used labels that would be the same for everyone? not only for international use, but also more locally in a specific language... For example, zipcode is one of the elements that is used in a wide range of XML documents. There are lots of ways of declaring the element that contains the zipcode, you can call it zipcode, postalcode, postcode (in dutch), codigo-postal (in spanisch). It would be usefull to have a list of common labels that is not industry specific. I am asking this here because during a presentation of XML for a group of developers in de mortgage industry in the netherlands one of the first question was wich labels should be used in the document, and if there was a common list of element labels in the netherlands for lets say name, adres, bankaccountnumber, city and so on. Thanks for any comments on this, David Valera *************************************************************************** This is xml-dev, the mailing list for XML developers.
