Using XML to send IIOP messages on HTTP

Hello There,

    Thought and thought would it be possible to send IIOP messages in
XML format over IIOP and let a XSLT stuff do the rest to make it
complete. That way we could take care of putting CORBA on the web.

    The client will send the IIOP message as HTTP to a web server, which

will take care of contacting the correct server and all this happens
transparently to the client and to the server. Client will never know he

is doing HTTP and server will always get to think that its the client
who is making the request. The web server acts as a proxy for the client

to the server. No firewall issues to be take care off.

    Am I getting it wrong?
