Unicode

Yes, there is a Unicode character for the Euro currency symbol. It is character #20AC, found in the Currency Symbols section of the Unicode 3.0 spec. Don't confuse this symbol with the ECU symbol (#20A0) that was used prior to the introduction of the Euro sign.
