[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] RE: media types of stylesheets
Hi James,
James said:
There's no such media type. The XSLT Rec says: "The MIME media types
text/xml and application/xml [RFC2376] should be used for XSLT
stylesheets. It is possible that a media type will be registered
specifically for XSLT stylesheets; if and when it is, that media type
may also be used."
Didier replies:
I stand corrected. The XST document MIME type is "text/xml" or
"application/xml" and the Processing instruction's attribute named "type"
takes as value "text/xsl". I simply mixed the PI attribute's value and the
document MIME type.
Cheers
