Hi Oliver, Oliver said: According to ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/media-types/media-types only "text/xml" comes into question. The question arose because IE with MSXML (March 15, 2000) requires "text/xsl", otherwise the referenced stylesheet isn't used. Is that a bug (resp. a MS feature) ? Didier replies: No its not. The MIME type for XSLT is "text/xsl", the MIME type for DSSSL is "text/dsssl" and the MIME type for CSS is "text/css". Now, the question is: Does these MIME types are well registered to IANA? I do not know. If not, it is then a practice shared by the XML community to use these MIME types for style sheets.
