Oracle's XML Class Generator for Java & C++
are others to consider. It's part of our XML Developer's
Kit that is available with a redistributable license
and full support.

| Take a look at:
|
| http://www.vsi.com/breeze
|
| You'll find info on Breeze Commerce Studio. Breeze is basically an IDE for
| XML/Java/SQL development, it imports XML documents, XML DTDs, and
JDBC/ODBC
| data sources and produces Java code to access XML and databases as true
| objects. An advantage Breeze has over the Bean Maker in XPK4J is that you
| can assign data types to the XML elements. Breeze is currently free for
| non-commercial use.

| Subject: XML-to-Java Tools
|
|
| I am about to start an evaluation of available tools that can generate
| Java classes from XML documents, preferably from XML DTDs. Can anyone
| recommend useful tools for this purpose. We wish to make it easy for our
| developers to generate/read/maintain XML documents from Java programs,
| ideally by using classes and accessor/mutator methods to represent the
| XML document.
|
| I believe that XBeans from IBMs XML Productivity Kit for Java (XPK4J)
| accomplishes this, but would welcome any recommendations for other tools
| that I should investigate.
|
| Many Thanks,
