Sean,

Surely Microsoft (the well-funded pre-release alpha software giant) has:

1. Announced (several months in advance) about their upcoming Explorer,
detailing how it will closely follow the W3C's recommendatoins.

2. Have already provided (on their alpha site) a XSL engine compilant
with at least one of the previous working drafts. IBM, Sun, and
Oracle have done this several times. Hmm. From my memory even
individuals like Keith Visco and Michael Kay have done this.

3. Have been providing valueable comments (as a W3C member) based on
their implementation knowledge to make sure that the standard
will work well for their development partners.

4. Alreay have (on their alpha site) a pre-release download of
a stylesheet engine compliant with the October working
draft -- so that their development community can be assured
that they are developing stylesheets which will work on many
other platforms; not just Microsoft's products.

Best,

Clark
