My, previously unstated, thinking is that certain design choices made at syntax level can encourage this line of thinking. If people can only create modules, they will have to create modules. <g> As far as the question "What is a document?" is concerned, my view is that a document is an end-product and thus has a sense of wholeness which runs counter to the ideals of reusability and modularity.
