Sure thing. XSL provides a semantic-free vocabulary for representing content. The DOM just juggles tree structures. CSS just annotates those structures for presentation. XSL provides a quick path from semantic documents to semantic-free presentation that is _possible_ in DOM+CSS, but is neither easy nor recommended.
