[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] RE: SAX2 RFD: Inheritance vs. Modification vs. Amalgamation
Err ... I might be losing my sanity here, but I _thought_ I'd posted a description of a technique that allows us to have the best of all worlds (forwards and backwards compatibility with new methods added to Parser, and no ugly casting or catching of NoSuchMethodErrors) in my last contribution to the 'Parser2 considered harmful' thread, http://www.lists.ic.ac.uk/hypermail/xml-dev/9905/0425.html Didn't it propagate? Didn't it make sense? I'd be happy to elaborate if it wasn't all that clear.
