Note that grove-based APIs such as that exposed by GroveMinder and the soon-to-be-releaed PyGrove do not have this problem. They present exactly as much information as the grove user asks for or the application can supply (obviously, whichever is less!). Users and grove-providing tools can communicate what they want with "grove plans." Over a few months, I've been working on a tutorial introduction to groves. The unfinished work is at: http://www.prescod.net/groves/shorttut/ Paul Prescod - http://itrc.uwaterloo.ca/~papresco "You have the wrong number." "Eh? Isn't that the Odeon?" "No, this is the Great Theater of Life. Admission is free, but the taxation is mortal. You come when you can, and leave when you must. The show is continuous. Good-night." -- Robertson Davies, "The Cunning Man" xml-dev: A list for W3C XML Developers. To post, mailto:xml-dev@i...
