_Building XML Applications_, a book (by myself and Ethan Cerami) describing the developmet of Java applets and applications that process XML, will be coming out from McGraw-Hill in December or January. While the copy editors edit and the presses roll, however, you can take a free look at the raw manuscript of the book. http://www.pbg.mcgraw-hill.com/betabooks/stlaurent/index.html Chapters 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 (the intro to the book and the tutorial on XML syntax) are currently posted; more chapters will follow as their production staff gets to them. Please ignore the bullets on the cover mockup - it's just a mockup. (They even got my name wrong.) For real information about what the book will cover, visit: http://www.simonstl.com/buildxml/index.html Sample applets and more information will be posted there eventually, when my head returns to this time zone...
