The intention is that dtd2xsc is essentially lossless *after* normalisation of PEs, inclusion of entity files, etc. xsc2dtd would lose the non-DTD information. XSchema will allow DTD information to be managed with XML technology (e.g. edited, printed nicely, etc.) I - and I suspect others - will see it as a way to create DTD-aware authoring tools. However, XSchema is in XML and therefore eXtensible :-) What value people put on that is up to them :-) >- DCD defines an alternative to DTDs Yes. Exciting new territory.
