I don't want to futz around with namespaces and I'm more interested in a single document being wholly self-sufficient. I'm treating XML and XSL as being reasonably well-defined meta protocols that we can use right now. If other tools remain compliant all well and good. I've not yet decided if XML-Data is worth pursuing for schema description - I'd like to hear what Oracle et al have intended along those lines before believing in it as a standard. Just because Microsoft are supposedly backing it doesn't fill me with confidence (the games they play with RTF alone have wasted much of my time). Andy Dent BSc MACS AACM, Software Designer, A.D.
