[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] RE: XLF: Legacy Log Problems
This is an interesting topic. I ran some tests a while ago and found that XML, after compression, was within about 10% of the file size of a text file containing the same data but without tags. My datasets may differ, of course, but I'm wondering whether anyone has run tests of log data in XML versus not in XML, and compared compressed sizes? xml-dev: A list for W3C XML Developers.
