MSXML 1.8 Viewer Applet problem

I'm using the XML Viewer applet in MSXML 1.8

Having trouble because there doesn't seem to be any way of closing the file
after you've finished with it, so all subsequent attempts to edit the XML
file after viewing it fail saying "file in use".
