The following pattern evaluates to 'valid':
<pattern value="([0-9]:([0-9])(:[0-9])?){4}"/>
When I add non-backreference (i.e., "?:") to the second group:
<pattern value="([0-9]:(?:[0-9])(:[0-9])?){4}"/>
XML_Schema > Validate returns "unexpected meta character".

Wasn't "?:" introduced in XSD 2.0? What am I missing here?
