c.m. fishmanSubject: how do I merge nodes to one schema
Author: c.m. fishman

I have the following:
<ResponseDoc>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>12345</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt/>
<CheckPending/>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>24567</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt/>
<CheckPending/>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>3567</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt/>
<CheckPending/>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
<InboundData>
<InCheckNum>24567</InCheckNum>
<InCheckAmt>123.45</InCheckAmt>
</InboundData>
</ResponseDoc>

and need to get the following:

<RequestDoc>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>12345</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt/>
<CheckPending/>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>24567</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt>123.45</CheckAmt>
<CheckPending>true</CheckPending>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
<CheckHead>
<CheckNum>3567</CheckNum>
<CheckAmt/>
<CheckPending/>
<VendorNum>abc123</VendorNum>
</CheckHead>
</RequestDoc>

I think I have to walk down the Response Doc using for-each. I know I need to create a template and I suspect I need to create keys but I am at a loss at how to put it together ...

I thank you in advance ...
Cathlene
