Hi,


i am doing my academic project on VS2003 using c#.I need to convert XSD to XML programatically .This should support for referenced schema.
Can anyone help me regarding this.

I have several schemas in one folder. Is it possible to create a sample XML file for all schemas in one step? When using the wizard, I'm only able to select one schema at a time.

Hi Ivan,

thanks for your quick answer, but I think this doesn't solve my problem.

I have several XSD files and I want to create a sample XML file for each of them. For example: 10 XSD -> 10 XML. Because the number of XSD files goes up to 200, it would be very time consuming to do it for each XSD file manually.

Trang can be invoked using a command line or from a Java program.
You could configure a simple batch file that does the job for you

see the manual in your Stylus Studio installation folder

C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 6 XML Enterprise Edition\bin\trang\trang-manual.html

Trang doesn't accept XSD files as input, is there another possibility to solve my problem?

Sorry Uwe, I totally miss read your message.

Translating XSD to XML automatically can not be done without choosing the root element and some schemas have more the one global elements.

If the input document structures are simple you could try to write a XSLT for this purpose.
