My XML file 1 have one tag blank.
Using XSL file I wan to add sysdate to this tag.
If and how can I do this?
Is there any function to get current date?
Please help!

The pure XSLT solution is to add a global parameter to your
transformation and pass the date when executing.
A differen approach could be using an extension function, but the call style
is different between implementations.
In the examples project look under the javaExtesion folder

Here is an example
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="
http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:IntDate="IntDate" version="1.0">
<xsl:param name="date" select="'default value'"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:value-of select="$date"/>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
