I am working on a project which requires conversion of a XML file to a new detailed XML file using XSL.
There are many transformations that are to be carried out in the XSL file. I am using the java TransformerFactory to generate the detailed XML.
There are few transformations that are not possible using XSL, for those I am using a simple java class…
For eg. Number to text conversion is not possible using XSL so I am using a simple java class for that conversion.
But the project requirement does not allow me to use the DOM parser for replacing the value in the XML. So I need a way out for this conversion. The solution that I came across for this is XALANJ.
As far as my knowledge is concerned XALANJ is used to invoke a java method from a XSL file.
I tried a few examples of XALANJ but getting some errors.
How do i invoke a java method using XSLT?
Can i have a working example?
