I wonder if there any way to remove the banner at the bottom of the program.
Does it need any special registration or something?

The only way to remove the banner is to purchase the non-promo version
of the product. We've tried to make the banner as unobtrusive as
possible while still allowing our marketing folks to have access to that
space (which was necessary for us to be able to release a free fully
functioning product).
