Chris DodsonSubject: Limit on size of schema/instance doc for validating
Author: Chris Dodson

Wondering whether there is a limit on the size that a schema may be - or a limit on the size an instance document may be. When validating an instance document, incorrect errors appear. When the offending element and its schema copied to a smaller xsd and instance document the error disappears.

We are not aware of such limitation. Could you zip and post a test case here?

Thanks

Thinking about how I can do this as data private, so would take a while to do. Does Stylus Studio have any way to round trip XML data. e.g. as per XMLSpy can generate sample instance document from schema - which can then be edited and re-validated etc.

Right click on the XSD element definition then click "View XML Sample"
