I am trying to build up some helper functions as defined in 'jde.xq'. I want to retrieve the database sourced collection by the use of the helper function 'jde:retrieve-target-table()'. Through testing I have found out that I cannot build the collection name from a variable retrieved from xml, which is ok. So I want to build a switch statement based on all the known database tables that will be supported and return it back to 'a.xq'.

I am not sure how to resolve the above mentioned exception.
