Ronald ReinerSubject: Specifying EDI Delimiters
Author: Ronald Reiner
Date: 13 Jun 2013 03:32 PM

Hi,

I was able to programmatically convert EDI data to XML and back again to EDI.

The one remaining issue I am currently having is that my generated EDI data is using different delimiters (both between the data components and to mark the end of segment/end of line).

Is there a mechanism to specify these delimiters either programmatically or using StylusStudio and persisting those settings in the .sep file?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ronald,

The XML Converters documentation covers this topic, look into the User's guide, there is a URL parameter for each delimiter

c:\Program Files (x86)\
-- Stylus Studio X15 XML Enterprise Suite\
-- -- Components\
-- -- -- XML Converters for Java\
-- -- -- -- doc\
-- -- -- -- -- xmlconverters-ug.pdf

Hope this helps
