Ronald ReinerSubject: Help Programatically Converting EDI Files to XML
Author: Ronald Reiner
Date: 11 Jun 2013 10:56 PM
Hi,

Today I have downloaded the evaluation copy of Stylus Studio Enterprise edition on the hopes that it would aid in converting EDI files to XML. One requirement is that we do this programmatically.

I have watch the tutorial videos and created some test code (java) in Eclipse to prototype this capability.

However, the import "com.ddtek.xmlconverters.*;" fails. Does the Enterprise edition give me access to this code?

Thanks,

Ron

The DataDirect XML Converters library is licensed separately.

You get 15 days evaluation, the library which you need to add to your Classpath or your Eclipse project is XMLConverters.jar which is located here

c:\Program Files (x86)\
-- Stylus Studio X15 XML Enterprise Suite\
---- Components\
------ XML Converters for Java\
-------- lib

For corporate application it's priced per CPU core (virtual or physical) per data source (X12, EDIFACT, HL7, etc).

If you want to bundle the library with your product you will need to talk with an OEM specialist.

Contact us at stylussupport@ivitechnologies.com for additional information

Hope this helps
