I am new to SS. I created a simple report (XSL) to start getting familiar with the GUI.
Compiled the report and run successfully (within SS IDE).
Here it comes the dumb questions…
How do I run this report in a self-contain package or it can only be run where I install SS IDE?
The target computer contains the same xml file (name) structure as the source where the report was created. How can I share the generated XSL file to run the report against the target vdata?

Any direction is greatly appreaicted

Hi,

After generating the XSLT from the XML Publisher, you should be able to use the generated XSLT file with a 3rd party XSLT processor.

You can even generate Java or C# code to invoke the XSLT processor on the source XML file. And then you can customize this code as you wish. In order to generate code you would open the generated XSLT file and then click on the XSLT -> Generate Code menu option.

Regards,
Rory
