Dan LitwillerSubject: Windows 7 64-bit Java. Stylus cannot detect the JRE or JDK

Greetings;

I just purchased your software (home edition) without first trying the download, and, of course, it doesn't work.

I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional, and I have 64-bit Java versions installed.

I do NOT like the way your software autodetects and doesn't allow me to manually enter the information like the picture shows on your web site.

What should I do? Get a refund?

Dan Litwiller

Hi Dan,
Stylus Studio is a 32-bit software, so it can only work with a 320bit JVM. Installing it side-by-side with your 64-bit version should work out of the box.

Hope this helps,
Alberto

Yes, everything's cooking now.

Nice application, by the way.
